Lucky Pic of the day.....................Why Follow Trends When You Can Set Them?

Daleena Part Deux.....

I told you yesterday was just a sample.......I feel like Flex today (I'm dropping Bombs on y'all...LoL) Daleena's style is exactly what we look for on LuckysinLove...It's fresh, it's unique....it's her! As you all know the question is always; What inspires your style? When I get a great response, I never add my 2cents, because that would be senseless, dig?

"well when it comes 2 my personal style, i just goes wit what feels right, some may not like some of the things i put 2gether and that is 1 of the reasons i feel my style is very unique.....i try not 2 find myself following certain trends and what the "people" say is hott, i usually put an outfit 2gether in my head and once that happens u cant really tell me 2 much after that LOL!!! the biggest factor that comes into play when i put my outfits 2gether is COLORS i love them all.....hate 2 wear very dark and dull colors cuz then thats the way i will feel (even in that pic u posted there wasnt really 2 many colors involved but i had 2 throw in 2 different color bangles just 2 stick wit my whole way of thinkin when it comes 2 me and colors) i love life so i try 2 show it thru the many different colors i wear. believe it or not people react 2 colors, if u see me on a everyday basis u will probably say wow this girl doesnt have a care in the world and she is def lovin life and thats what i always try 2 portray..."

With answers like this, need I say more?

Converse/ Dr. Romanelli - 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor.....Work Of Art!

In part of the PROJECT(RED), created by U2 lead singer Bono and Bobby Shriver to address the growing epidemic of AIDS/HIV in Africa, Converse launched a new initiative to both benefit the project and the commemoration to Converse’s 100th anniversary. The initiative, Converse 1HUND(RED), will see 100 new interpretations of the classic sneaker by 100 chosen artists/designers. Among them is design by the L.A.-based Dr. Romanelli. Part artist, part designer, the self taught Darren Romanelli’s unique re-interpretations of each project, the combination of hard to find vintage pieces along with updated silhouettes, in addition to his attention to details, granted him a reputation of a mad genius at work, hence the title “Dr”.

For the Converse 1HUND(RED), Dr. Romanelli covered the Chuck Taylor in a pattern of antiquated bandages, each with functional perforations. The clear sole exposed an imprint of human skull diagram on the bottom. While the interior is imprinted with graphics of a human dissection, copied directly from a medical textbook. The Converse x Dr. Romanelli - Chuck Taylor All-Star for Converse 1HUND(RED) is currently available

Lucky Pic of the day...................Just A Preview Of Whats To Come!

Daleena.......What more can I say?

I've been interviewing people like crazy this week, and was out and about in NY conversing with people about not just individual style but their views on where we are headed in the worlds of art and fashion. LuckysinLove is interviewing you the people, and our voices will be heard, dig?
I can go into a description on todays pic, but I like her style and look so much that I had to post something for y'all.....What else can I say about this woman besides "She's got it down to a T"...She doesn't dress to conform, and there isn't an outfit she doesn't rock the H out of. Her look is not Retro, and although she can glam the H out of an outfit, I don't think thats the look either......You'll get the full thing upon the interview because I already stated, I'm only postin one pic of her just to give y'all a taste of whats to come.......and since I'm embracing art and free expression today, what other picture will do, huh?

LuckysinLove with your style Daleena, and thank you for keeping it "you"!

HiCan...................HOW SICK IS THIS???

"Hi-Can is an “High Fidelity Canopy” designed by Italian designer Edoardo Carlino. The Hi-Can high fidelity canopy features beautifully designed equipment that allows you to surf the web, watch movies, play games, and listen to music all from the comfort of your bed. This bed provides you a lot of technology at your fingertips from the moment you just woke up, andis a perfect tool that aims to make your lifes more sedentary. You get a projector, a sound system, a projection screen, a DVD player and all the relevant input". How Sick is this? I can see an insane price on this, but would it be worth it is the question......

ASCII Code Curtains.................SICKNESS!!!

Designed by Dutch designer, Nienke Sybrandy, the ASCII Code Curtains is a very interesting approach to curtains design that was inspired by the sheer amount of information going through today’s networks (shouts to Fresh). This curtain is pure sickness, because it is what I call "nerdy art", and I LOVE IT! Art in Binary Code or in Network Format taking it back. Basically the birth of the computer can actually be used and compared to the Garden of Eden in this case (its only art people, so getting offended won't help in this case so don't try it). Peep the pictures below:

Adam Tensta.....................My Cool (My Anthem For The Spring)

I don't know much about this guy except from the fact that he's Swedish, and raps in English with A Swagger that many others are now trying to copy. I think I should move overseas, because I'm so ahead of my time I can't wait to be born. The only type of people that can uderstand me are a few and you know who you are. Lets all move overseas....

"White People Will Be Picking Cotton.....Within 3 Years" Early 08, and already an idiot comment of the year candidate?

I never let the race thing get to me. I try to keep my head above the clouds because ignorance can never touch the heavens, but when I watch a video like this, I can't help but scratch my head. What kind of comments is this guy making? Maybe the reason you're not getting recognized is because you're still "the wee-e-zel", and todays demographic doesn't know WHO THE H YOU ARE!!! WHAT AN IDIOT!
A guy like Dane Cook has sold out shows across the Country, and has been in the game since 1995 isn't complaining.....Tony Roberts, Rob Stapleton.......are all black comedians that have been in the game for as long or even longer than Dane Cook, and their doing what we black entrepreneurs know how to do, grind it out until you're recognized for your own special. His comments on the Presidential race are also ignorant.......I can't speak more on this subject, but you tell me what you think.....and below it is a talented brother who lost his life just as he gained a little recognition in the comedy game......

Why are some people just starting to rock chokers and scarves? You already know the answer, and not many of my bloggers who view this fall in that same category. We are individuals at LuckysinLove, and we love creativity.....so we bring you "A Peace Treaty"....an olive branch because we understand that we live in a world influenced so much by pop culture that "gangsta's" now rock chokers, designer jeans and designers sneakers......whoa....

The incredible thing about this post is the name of brand "A Peace Treaty"....the funny thing is that this brand was started by Farah Malik, a Pakistani Muslim and Dana Arbib, a Libyan Jew (hence the brand name).
