Fashion Spotlight: Nadia Nour.........."I put on for my City"
"Growing up in New York in the 80's, Nadia loved customizing her clothes and coordinating outfits with her friends. The trend at the time was to add personal touches to clothes. People got creative and colorful whether it was with bedazzlers, markers, tie-dye, patches, paint, or a pair of scissors. Nadia was struck by the idea that everyone could make their clothing their own and make a statement at the same time. Designing outfits for talent shows and school plays by deconstructing and repurposing clothing and household items became a natural source of fun for her"....I've been spotlighting new designers people aka "I'm putting y'all on some new ishh"...enjoy, and do remember to check out her site:
"The four-leaf clover is an uncommon variation of the common three-leaf clover. According to superstition, such leaves bring good luck to their finders, especially if found accidentally.
Clovers can have more than four leaflets. The most leaflets ever recorded is eighteen. It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover.
According to legend, each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck."
