"Growing up in New York in the 80's, Nadia loved customizing her clothes and coordinating outfits with her friends. The trend at the time was to add personal touches to clothes. People got creative and colorful whether it was with bedazzlers, markers, tie-dye, patches, paint, or a pair of scissors. Nadia was struck by the idea that everyone could make their clothing their own and make a statement at the same time.
